Full-time Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

Development & design
• Technical implementation of development projects in the fields of aluminum system technology, mechanical and plant engineering, automation and mechatronic systems
• Development and support of prototypes – from the concept phase through sample construction and testing to series production readiness
• Participation in the further development of our modular system kit, including for robotics and conveyor technology solutions
• Technical coordination with internal specialist departments, system partners, and customers in Germany and abroad
Quality assurance & technical responsibility
• Integration of quality requirements as early as the development phase (“Quality by Design”)
• Definition, implementation, and monitoring of technical specifications, tolerances, and functional requirements
• Creation, review, and approval of drawings, parts lists, and technical documentation
• Planning and execution of functional, stress, and practical tests
• Technical evaluation of deviations, root cause analysis and derivation of improvement measures
• Participation in the establishment and further development of technical standards and development guidelines

Your profile

• Completed degree in
  mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable engineering science
  or technician with relevant professional experience in the development environment
• Ideally, you have experience in development, design, or technical project work; relevant career starters are also welcome
• Very good knowledge of 3D design, ideally SolidWorks
• Experience in working with technical drawings, tolerances and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of quality-related processes and technical testing methods
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach to work
• High level of technical responsibility and an eye for the overall system
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Interest in new technologies, development tasks, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and a professional demeanor
